I’ll be the first in my household to gain a college level, and that’s something I hold really near my heart.
My family members and I moved to the United States in 2014 We picked Memphis as our second home to start fresh and build a better future.
When I graduated senior high school in 2020, I made a decision to sign up with the Army Book so I could work full-time to assist sustain my household financially. In the process, my moms and dads constantly advised me of the significance of an university degree. Honestly, I struggled with the decision between picking work over college.
That changed when I discovered the University of Memphis Global (UofM Global) where I can gain my level 100 % online from a recognized, nationally acknowledged Carnegie R 1 college. The versatility of the program made it possible to balance job, life, and education and learning. When I enlisted, I recognized I made the right selection.
As an on the internet pupil, I stayed included with school life with job fairs and signing up with pupil companies like the Culture of Human Resource Management. I wanted to get one of the most out of my college experience and connect with individuals that shared my interest for HR.
Last November, I deployed to Kuwait, with a month left of loss term. Many thanks to the assistance and structure of UofM Worldwide, I had the ability to complete solid, also making the Dean’s Checklist. I’m taking 4 classes while serving on active service, and I’m proud to claim I’ll be finishing in May.
Being able to serve my country, sustain my family, and gain my level suggests the world to me. I feel ready to handle whatever follows.
